Wild Cat is a charming and comfortable self-catering holiday home in a converted barn, dating from 1832. It offers accomodation for 1 up to 4 people. It has it's own large and sunny garden and is located in Sourbrodt, on the edge of the High Fens National Park, between the German Eifel and the Belgian Ardennes.
Wild Cat was one of the buildings of the farmhouse (1781) that now houses Bed & Breakfast La Petite Roer. Its conversion, for which sustainable building materails were used, started in 2011 and was completed in the summer of 2012. Wild Cat is a self catering accomodation, although some of the services of the B&B can be shared. We are also happy to ledn you maps and to advise on interesting walks and cycle tours.
Wild Cat is adjacent to the small La Petite Roer Nature Reserve and the High Fens Nature Park. You can start your walks or your mountainbike trails from the cottage.
In Summer 2013, the slow-traffic-only Vennbahn cycleroute was opened. It follows the former railroad track from Aachen to Trois Vierges in the north of Luxemburg and runs through an often breathtaking landscape, passing through Sourbrodt at less than a mile from Wild Cat.
In winter, you can find many cross country tracks in the immediate vicinity, as well as some ski slopes.
Pets are not allowed in Wild Cat.
The Cottage is non-smoking.
